The dethroned Emir of Kano State, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has recounted in bitterness and regret the role he played in 2015 general election that installed APC into power.

The former Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN governor under the administration of the erstwhile president Goodluck Jonathan while speaking in Loko development area, Nasarawa local government area of Nasarawa state where he was exiled to, regretted Jonathan, never deserved the ill-treatment he got from Northern leaders in 2015, maintaining that the people that turned their backs against Jonathan owe him an unreserved apology..

He further said, “You’ve a choice to make.To remain a slave wearing a turban or a free man without a turban”

It would be recalled that Sanusi was dethroned by the Abdullahi Ganduje led-Kano State Government on March 9.

In another development, the Nasarawa state government have relocated the former Emir from Loko to Awe local government area of the state following the absence of electricity in Loko area
